# Create Account

> Sign up, complete KYB, and get ready to generate API keys in the partner portal.

Create your partner account in the [Liquidramp portal](https://dashboard.liquidramp.com).

    Open the [partner portal](https://dashboard.liquidramp.com) and create an account with your business email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify email">
    Confirm the verification link sent to your inbox.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete KYB">
    Submit business details, stakeholders, and documents in the portal. Quote and order endpoints require an approved account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate API keys">
    After approval, create keys in the portal. See [Authentication](/getting-started/authentication).
  </Step>

Save your **partner reference** (shown in the portal) — you send it as `liquidramp-client-id` on every API request.

<Warning>
  For **onramp** and **offramp**, complete KYC on your end users — preferably through a KYC provider. Liquidramp requires this for regulatory compliance because those flows involve fiat. **Swap** does not require end-user KYC. Partner KYB in the portal does not replace customer KYC.
